JOIN THE DAYLIGHTING COLLABORATIVE

your window on the world of daylighting design!

Support the Daylighting Collaborative and spread the word! Light every building using the sky! Create beautiful spaces! Build high performance buildings that save energy and reduce our carbon footprint.

Your $60 membership in the Daylighting Collaborative supports the development and dissemination of the tools and resources the building design community needs to help meet our global climate challenge: make our buildings carbon-neutral by 2030. Your membership gives you access to detailed technical information and training, and a community of daylighting design experts.

Member benefits

We are developing a secure area to house a variety of tools and other information for members of the Daylighting Collaborative. This section of the website will provide detailed technical information, access to design recommendations from daylighting experts, and the ability to "ask the experts" design questions. Content will continue to grow with new technical topics added regularly.

Your membership includes complimentary access to three online trainings from Energy Center University, our training portal:

  • Daylighting: Light Every Building Using the Sky
This webcast is presented by Abby Vogen Horn, Senior Project Manager at the Energy Center of Wisconsin. This course is an approved U.S. Green Building Council offering.

  • High Performance Glazing Systems
This online course is designed for individuals who want more in-depth knowledge of the impact of window designs not only on aesthetics but also on energy efficiency, human health and productivity.

  • Daylighting and the Engineer
Eric Truelove, P.E., LAP of The Renschler Company will provide practical design recommendations and considerations for daylighting and the design implications for the engineer. Eric has worked on numerous LEED and Green Globes projects that have successfully incorporated daylighting to reduce energy and improve environmental quality. Scheduled for Fall 2007, this training will be recorded for the web.
